Text Box: One of the coolest things my clients ever did for me was put me on naturallycurly.com. Not only do I have curly hair, but I know ways to help control it. You can't fight it, you just need to surrender to your naturally curly hair. Especially in the summer!

Don't brush and comb it too much because this will only add to the frizz. I also find it better you if don't shampoo it too much, however, you do need to condition it. Leave in conditioner such as Bumble & Bumble Leave-In works very well as it is light but still helps protect hair from heat and everyday wear and tear. Also your hair won't be left feeling dry! It is also better Text Box: not to use too much product. Start small and you can always add more.

I recommend Bumble & Bumble Defining Creme for finer hair because it helps support soft, fine curls that tend to droop while also keeping them soft and not crunchy.

For thicker hair I like the Bumble & Bumble Calming Creme. It helps smooth, soften and loosen tight curls that tend to frizz. It keeps them tamed and defined without crunchiness. For use put a small amount in your palm and rub your palms together, the product will then warm as you rub distributing better by not Text Box: globbing onto one spot. If you have longer hair you will need a little more product. Also, use the product right when you get out of the shower so it distributes evenly.

It's better not to shampoo everyday so if your curls need a little lift the next day I suggest the Bumble & Bumble Reactivating Mist, which will help touch up those curls. For the
summer trends it's always cute to add a braid in the front or use a headband or scarf and pin the back up. It's especially helpful when the warm weather comes! Good luck and remember to enjoy those curls.

Text Box: With the sunny days and the warm weather approaching us, it is time to start thinking of your hair color for the 2010 spring and summer seasons.  Start this year off with a brighter start by ditching the dark, drab, single process colors and spruce yourself up with warmer richer tones and multi- dimensional highlights.   Before you decide you're ready to make a leap into spring you must make sure your hair is also in the proper condition.  Having the right shampoos, conditioners and products are essential for achieving the color you love.
With inspirations from celebrities like Jennifer

Text Box: Aniston, Nicole Richie and  Beyonce, the warmer tones are definitely on the rise for this upcoming season.  Tones of cinnamon, chestnut, maple, auburn and chocolate will compliment everyone's bronzed skin tone.  The easiest way to start off a new color would be to add to what you already have. Sticking to an all over color is perfectly expectable as long as it has hues of warmth like gold, copper or even red of you're brave!  The warm tones in the color will help your hair look shiny and never flat.  To keep your color looking fresh you should try a Pixelist Express Treatment from Kerastase.

Text Box: It is an in-salon ritual done immediately after the color process. The treatment will add incredible, lasting shine and adds protection against color fading. You will defiantly not want to go home without the corresponding shampoo and conditioner, Bain Mirror Shampoo and the Chroma Reflect Milk Conditioner.  For added color protection, lasting brilliance and shine go home with the Chroma Reflect Masque. This amazing at home color protection will make a world of difference in maintaining your new hue.
Ready for even more of a dramatic change?  Still sticking with the warmer tones, go for highlights of caramel or even a golden, Text Box: Julia Fogerty
