Hi, it's been a hectic but fun summer at the salon. Firstly thanks you to everyone that donated to the fight against breast cancer by purchasing a pink hair extension. We raised $2400 for this worthy cause, so thanks for your support. Our hair extension service menu now reverts back to a 4 extension minimum.

As the owners of Hip and being in the hair business for more years than each of us care to remember! We emphatically believe in on going training for our stylists and colorists. This summer and fall members of the color department (Ian, Nick and Rachel) attended a Schwarzkopf coloring workshop in New York. Members of The cutting department (Yuri, Michelle & Jennifer) attended a Bumble & Bumble workshop also in New York.

Additionally during the Summer Debra and Jennifer attended classes at Vidal Sasson in London.

The culmination of all this education and training is to keep up with the latest trends, styles and techniques, as when you look good we look good. So next time your in the chair with one of the aforementioned folks ask them what they learnt in class. I'm sure you will be surprised.

Speaking of classes we will be hosting a blow-dry and a flat ironing class sometime during January and February. These class are free to clients. Our stylists will be providing personnel instruction on how to style your hair at home to get the look you want. So watch out for the invitation email.
